Long is a research scientist at Creative Intelligence Lab, Adobe Research. Long joined Adobe in June 2017. Before joining Adobe, Long obtains his Ph.D from Portland State University where he was a member of the Computer Graphics & Vision Lab, advised by Professor Feng Liu.
His current research focuses on leveraging deep learning techniques to approach challenging problems in computer vision and computer graphics. In particular, he is interested in learning-based frameworks for creative visual search and image/video synthesis.
