Mike is a recent addition to the Imagination Lab, having joined in October 2016. His research interests centre on image analysis, example-based image creation and editing, as well as 3D rendering and traditional fabrication.
He received his Ph.D. from the Czech Technical University in Prague under the supervision of doc. Daniel Sýkora. In his studies, he conducted research in the areas of example-based painting and image and video stylisation.
Through his research, he hopes to empower users to create art both digital and physical by breaking down the boundaries between these worlds of creativity.
