Ruben Villegas

Research Scientist

San Jose

Ruben joined Adobe as a Research Scientist in the Summer of 2019.

He completed his PhD at the University of Michigan advised by Prof. Honglak Lee. Ruben’s work mainly revolves around modeling human motion. He has mostly worked on predicting future human motion in pixel-space. He has also worked on unsupervised motion transfer from humans into 3D characters.

Ruben interested in unsupervised discovery of motion styles, video motion re-targeting, and general video motion synthesis. Ruben is also interested in using video temporal consistency as supervision to automatically discover interpretable information.
