As an industry lab, Adobe Research offers a great balance between publishing and product. What I like the most about working here is being surrounded by so many smart people. I can easily start exploring new areas, for example in computer vision or deep learning. The environment encourages you to learn.
Adobe Research is full of brilliant people. We have a large number of projects happening at once, and they cross pollinate often, which is good—we get to share solutions and collaborate. You never know what’s going to come out of it. Pull on a thread and it might become a feature in a product!
Adobe Research is a very open, friendly, collaborative environment. Here, I have the absolute freedom to collaborate with a broad range of people on our team and throughout Adobe, as well as with university partners. And it’s a good fit because I am interested in applied research. I like to see my work being used.
