Daichi Ito

Technical Research Artist

Daichi is a Technical Research Artist at Creative Intelligence Lab. working on a variety of new media related technologies.

He completed his B.F.A. in Animation/Illustration and M.A. in Art from San Jose State university. His research focuses on understanding artists’ needs and filling the gap between artists and technologies by introducing new ideas and computer programming algorithms. He works on research projects as well as art projects.

Prior to joining Adobe, Daichi had worked as a freelance illustrator in Tokyo, and a technical artist/ production artist at game companies in Japan and the U.S., working on concept art, 3D modeling, animation, and in-house art tools.
